From 1990 through July 1,
2002, GDC maintained nearly 24 open genetic disease registries for all breeds
of pedigreed dogs. Currently GDC is operating only the Eye Diseases and Turmor
registries. OFA has adopted the GDC registries, and GDC data will be merged
with OFA in August, 2002. Evaluation information for all dogs registered with
GDC continues to be available in the form of KinReports through an online order
form on the GDC searchable registry page.
GDC maintained more than two dozen genetic disease registries and research data bases including:
- Orthopedic diseases (discontinued)
Hips, Elbows, Shoulders, Hocks (all breeds)
- CMO (discontinued)
- Eye diseases (all breeds)
- Retinal: PRA, Retinal Dysplasia, Juvenile Cataracts, Glaucoma, others as recognized by ACVO
- Skin diseases (discontinued)
- Sebaceous adenitis (all breeds)
- Cardiac diseases (discontinued)
- Subaortic stenosis (SAS), Tricuspid valve dysplasia (TVD) (Labrador Retrievers)
- Tumors (Bernese Mountain Dogs)
- Hystiocytosis, Mastocytoma, and other tumors
- Globoid Cell Leukodystrophy (DNA Genetic Marker Test for Cairn Terriers, West Highland Whites) (discontinued)
- Hearing diseases (all breeds) (discontinued)
- Deafness

The file is large, about 5MB and may take as long as 25 minutes. Though the
PDF version of the form will more closely resemble the GDC hard copy, you
